For clients Based on. NET Framework 2.0, everything works normally on the Vista and Server 2008 used for development and is placed on the client machine. Some clients always report errors.
"The server committed a protocol violation" (the Chinese system is "Basic Connection closed: Protocol conflict submitted by the server ").
It was found that the ftpwebrequest error was reported because the FTP server returned invalid characters.
But why does it only appear on some XP users?
Open the directory c: \ windows \ Microsoft. NET \ framework \ v2.0.50727 and find that the system. dll version is faulty.
The server 2008 version is 2.0.50727.3053.
Windows XP version 2.0.50727.42.
The system. dll of 2008 is copied first, which is invalid.
Later I thought that. NET Framework 2.0 had the SP1 Patch package.
Solution:
Install the. NET Framework 2.0 SP1 Patch and report an error.
PS. The system. dll version with the. NET Framework 2.0 SP1 Patch is changed to 2.0.50727.1433. (It is still lower than 2.0.50727.3053. However, ftpwebrequest is no problem)
The problem is that every customer cannot be forced to update. NET Framework 2.0 SP1.
