Since the announcement of many years of collaboration with Hashicorp, Microsoft has made great strides to ensure that the Hashicorp tools operate as first-class citizens on Azure's public cloud offerings. Through the work of professional engineers at Microsoft and Hashicorp, a number of important new features and integrations have been provided in the past December. Azure's Hashicorp TerraForm provider covers most of the Azure Resource Manager services, some of which were highlighted in Microsoft build in May. In April,? Hashicorp Vault 0.10 enabled support for the new authentication method for Azure Active Directory, and recently, Vault 0.11 introduced a new secret engine for Azure.
To highlight the growing support for TerraForm and vault, Microsoft invited Hashicorp to participate in a series of technical videos for IT practitioners. Anubhav Mishra, Hashicorp's Development Technology extension engineer (Developer advocate), and Z achary Deptawa, Microsoft Cloud Development Technology Extension Engineer (Developer advocate), produced four videos To introduce and guide users on how these tools work together and what challenges they solve. Each video provides information and resources designed to help users start provisioning, manage, and protect their infrastructure in Azure.
