In the previous article we introduced how to build a set of domain environments in Qcloud standardization and how to avoid some pits in the production process, today we present another role in this demo-how to deploy and design shared storage sg.

The following is the server information that is needed today (in this case, the external network traffic is mainly to facilitate the demo, but the production environment does not recommend the use of external network bandwidth):

About SG, which is used as a SQL cluster shared storage, the storage function is divided into three pieces, one as an arbitration disk, a piece as a production data, a piece as a spare (no reserved space enabled), shared storage We use the WS2K12R2 comes with the Iscsci server, and then SQL01, The SQL02 is connected to this shared storage separately.

1, connect to the Q-SG01, click Install iSCSI Server, the next step to select iSCSI Server:

4. Then open Disk Management to see if the data disk of the I-series server is initialized successfully:

5. Partition the data disk (iSCSI in volume):

6. After the check is complete, select Server Manager on the iSCSI server:

7. Click Create iSCSI Virtual Disk

8. Enter the first disk (used as an arbitration disk):

9. Select the dynamic disk type (the quorum disk is not required for data performance):

10. Enter the target name (i.e. the receiving end, the arbitration disk and the data disk can use the same iSCSI target):

12. Add the access end machine to two SQL nodes:

17. Next, log in to SQL01, SQL02 machine, connect iSCSI (using iSCSI Initiator):

18. Switch to "discover" and delete the discovered IP:

19. Click "Discover Portal" again, enter the destination address, then click Advanced to specify IP connection:

20. Use the same method to connect the SQL02 to the iSCSI disk, and then confirm that there is an iSCSI-attached disk in Disk Management:
