Ii. Random trials and events
1.We make an observation or scientific experiment on a natural phenomenon, collectively referred to asTest.
2.If this experiment "can be repeated under the same conditions" and the results of each test are unpredictable, we call itRandom test.
(The tests we will talk about below are all random tests.)
There is always an observation purpose in performing a test, and there are many different possible results observed in the test.
every possible result of the test is generally called random event , referred to as event , we use the letter A , B , C , ... indicates.
We turn events that cannot be splitBasic events. An event composed of several basic events is calledComposite event.
Whether an event is a basic event is relative to the purpose of the test.
