I hate spending time on build. Some summary:
Software:
- Unity build: connects multiple CPP files, which is used more often.
- The proper size of PCH is not the better for storing more things
Hardware:
- SSD: A thorough solution to hard disk bottlenecks
- Ramdisk + junction: the combination of HH found in the group, which is awesome. Use the memory as the hard disk, and then use the junction tool to locate some intermediate things on the hard disk, which can be further improved.
- Our project is relatively large, and the build uses nearly 3 GB space. If release is used, ramdisk needs to put a larger space here,
- When compiling retail and debug, there will be insufficient space. You need to make a cut and transfer it to the hard disk. This is acceptable considering that it generally works on a version.
- Set the temp of the environment variable to ramdisk.
