In compressing the file, you must not be able to compress one time to complete, because you have a lot of video files waiting for you to deal with it! But if you use fireworks's magical batch ability, you can quickly make batch files and save settings, so that the next time you need to use more convenient!
Fireworks offers several methods of compression, such as searching for and replacing text (find and replace), changing the output settings (Export settings), and calibrating (scaling), in which the calibration function can be said to be the best method.

1. Select File->batch Process
The dialog box for the batch process appears on the screen.

2. Select the file you want to compress
Select Custom in the external jump window of the files to process, select the file you want to batch in the Open dialog box, press Add, repeat this step until you have selected the file, and then press done.

3. Set calibration options
Selecting the Export,batch Export dialog box in the Batch Process dialog box will be turned on. There are three options in the calibration outside Jump window, and you can choose one of them according to the situation:
　　 Scale to Size
If you want to adjust your batch file to the level or vertical size that meets your requirements, you can choose Scale to size and then type the size you want. Or you want all of the compressed files are 75 pixels (pixel) wide, in the level of the large cell input 75, and then in the vertical large cell input variable. As a result, fireworks will be 75 pixels wide when executing the batch instructions, and the height will be adjusted to the width as appropriate.
　　 Scale to fit area
When you want to compress the file size so that it can be put into a specific area, for example, if you want to put the file in a table, your table is set to a horizontal table with a width of 50 pixels (higher), a straight table of 70 pixels (wide ratio), and then just use the scale to Area feature and enter 50 and 70 in the width and height dimensions, you will find that the image will be properly calibrated and matched with your storage grid!
This function is calibrated separately, that is, when setting the calibration size, max width is only for the horizontal file width, the relative max height is set straight file high!
　　 Scale to Percentage
If you want to compress the file to the same percentage (percentage), select Scale to percentage then enter the number, although the file will not be all the same size, but not too far away!
　　 Backup Files
If you want to save the original file, you can set the file backup option to keep the source files before the batch.
　　 Scriptlet
If you have a lot of files handy, you might want to do a repetitive batch action. Although you have set up the batch program, but you will still be repeated in the Batch Process dialog box to get mad, so just do a script to help you save trouble on it! Before making a script, follow the steps above to build your batch program and, before pressing OK, press the script to store your settings in the file format according to the name and path you specify. If you want to perform the script you do well, choose File>run Script and find your script, and then just tell fireworks that you want to compress the file and press OK. Is it simple?
