1.1. Install 1.1.1. initialize Configuration

1.1.2. Install Installation Manager 1.4.4

Installation File Path: \ 192.168.1.52 \ Rational deployment materials \ ClearCase

During this period, select next. You can modify the Directory and location of the software installation as needed, and click Install.

The CC application can provide the license server. Therefore, you do not need to install the License Server.

1.1.3. Install the ClearCase Server

ClearCase must run in the domain environment. Before installation, you must create a ccadmin user, clearcase_albd user, ccuser user group, and clearcase user group on the domain controller, and add clearcase_albd to the clearcase group, add ccadmin to the ccuser group and the Local administrators Group, add ccsrv to the guofangkj domain, restart the SCM-DB server, and log on to the guofangkj domain with the ccadmin account.

Installation media location: D: \ Install \ 7.1.1 \ CZ9WAML.zip, first decompress it.

Execute the Installation Manager installed in the previous step in the Start Menu.

Open File/preference.

Click Add repository, browse to the directory where diskTag. inf is located after extracting the preceding installation media, and then click OK.

 

Return to the Installation Manager homepage and click the Installation icon.

Select the version of the software to install.

 

Next, select the feature to be installed, as shown in. To install the client, you only need to select "Dynamic View" and "local view" and "VOB" in the client component of the function component.

Select the domain guofangkj and specify the clearcase_albd user and its password.

 

Enter the Registry server host name ccsrv and define a windows Registry region Name:

Enable remote management:

Case sensitivity settings:

Then start the installation and restart the server.

1.1.4. Install the ClearCase7.1.1.1 patch

Installation media location: \ 192.168.1.52 \ Rational deployment materials \ ClearCase, first decompress it.

Run Installation Manager, add a new repository, and locate the repository. config file in the decompressed folder.

 

Return to the Installation Manager homepage and click the update icon.

The updated software package is shown in:

The following options are similar to the process of installing ClearCase. Some ClearCase processes may affect the update. Just close the process as prompted.

Restart the server after the update is completed.

1.1.5. License settings

Open the ClearCase program in the control panel and switch to the licensing tag.

The License file is in \ 192.168.1.52 \ Rational deployment materials \ ClearCase, copy the license to the following text area.

After the license is set, restart the system's Atria Location Broker service.

1.1.6. Check the ClearCase status

Click Start Analysis:

Understand the system status based on the diagnosis results and make corresponding adjustments.

1.1.7. Solve the problem after analysis

The solution is as follows:

1. Click Start> Control Panel> ClearCase> registy to select the license server.

 

2. Click the licensing Option and paste the license. After an analysis, the problem is solved.
