Installation media location: \ 192.168.1.52 \ Rational deployment materials \ ClearQuest

During this period, select next. You can modify the Directory and location of the software installation as needed, and click Install.

1.1.2. Install License Server7.1.1

Installation media location: \ 192.168.1.52 \ Rational deployment materials \ ClearQuest

Select the software to be installed. The corresponding software version is as follows:

1.1.3. License Management

In D: \ Install \ 7.1.1 \ CQSRV. upd, double-click to import the License file.

Next, run the license key administrator.

Select to point to the Rational License Server to obtain the License, and then click Next.

Enter the license server name cqsrv, and then complete.

The License configuration is complete.

1.1.4. installation and configuration of DB2

DB2 version: DB2 9.1

Contact the Administrator for the username and password of the DB2 administrator.

After the DB2 installation is complete, create a database named cq_db.

Create three users in windows: cq_schema/cq_user/cq_test. The password and user name are the same. These three users are used to create the CQ model database, production database, and test database respectively, add these three users to the cq_db database user, and grant the database connection permission.

1.1.5. ClearQuest Server Installation

Installation media location: D: \ Install \ 7.1.1 \ CZ9WDML.zip. decompress it first.

Run the previously installed Installation Manager in the Start Menu.

Open File/preference.

Click Add repository, browse to the directory where diskTag. inf is located after extracting the preceding installation media, and then click OK.

 

Return to the Installation Manager homepage and click the Installation icon.

Select the version of the software to install.

 

Next, select the feature to be installed, as shown in. To install the Client, you only need to select the Rational ClearQuest Client or Rational ClearQuest for Windows Client in the feature section.

 

Restart the server after installation.

1.1.6. Install the ClearQuest7.1.1.1 patch

Installation media location: D: \ Install \ 7.1.1 \ 7.1.1.1-RATL-RCQ-WIN-FP01.zip. decompress it first.

Run Installation Manager, add a new repository, and locate the repository. config file in the decompressed folder.

 

Return to the Installation Manager homepage and click the update icon.

The updated software package is shown in:

The following options are similar to the process of installing ClearQuest. Some ClearQuest processes may affect the update. Just close the process as prompted.

Restart the server after the update is completed.

1.1.7. Create a mode repository

ClearQuest maintenance tool in the running program.

Select mode Library/create from the menu.

Specifies the database information of the mode repository. You can use cq_schema to save the data of the mode repository.

Select GBK as the code page.

You do not need to create a sample database. Remove the preceding options.

Click Finish. CQ automatically writes data to the database.
