Reader domain, author domain Parsing

This document can be read only when it is a member of the reader's field value.

Users who are specified as "inaccessible" in the database cannot read the documents in the database even if they are included in the "Reader" domain. On the other hand, users with "editors" (or higher) Access Level in the access control list cannot read documents if they are not included in the "Reader" domain.

The "author" domain works collaboratively with the "author" Access Level in the database access control list. If you specify a user in the access control list that has an "author" access level, the user cannot edit his/her own documents. Adding users to the "author" Domain allows them to edit the values of the author domain to include their documents, thus extending their access permissions.

Projects in the author domain cannot go beyond the database access control list, but can only be refined. Users who are specified as "accessors" in the database cannot edit documents even if they are included in the "author" domain. Users with Database "editors" (or higher) access level are not affected by the "author" domain. The "author" domain only affects users with "author" Access Level in the database.

The following table lists the access levels.

Manager

Modify the Database Access Control List, encrypt the database, modify the replication settings, delete the database, and execute all the tasks allowed at a lower access level.

Designer

Modify all database design elements, create full-text search indexes, and execute all tasks permitted at lower access levels.

Edited

Create a document, edit all documents (including those created by others), and read all documents, unless there is a "Reader" field in the form (if the document cannot be read, you cannot edit it)

Author

Create a document and edit the document with the "author" field specified by this domain. Read all documents unless the form contains the "Reader" field.
