[Reading Notes] iOS-UDID, Reading Notes ios-udid
The UIDevice class can return the UDID of the current iOS device. In the past, developers used UDID as the unique identifier for each device, and then started with iOS5, apple marked this function as abolished and is not recommended. Apple removed this function after iOS6.
Due to the limited information provided by the UIDevice class, some developers turn to the IOKit framework to obtain more information about the device. However, although Apple marks the IOKit framework as a public library, but did not provide any refer-off documentation, or even public header files.
If you use this library, the developed applications cannot pass the AppStore mounting review. Apple may refuse to use private APIs. The IOKit framework is described in the official document as "used by devices rather than developers.
