　　Step One: check the BIOS settings in the motherboard, keyword: Front Panel Type.

Some motherboard manufacturers in the BIOS of the default forward audio type is auto automatic, such motherboards do not need to adjust the BIOS, the default value can be.

However, in the ASUS motherboard BIOS This value defaults to HD Audio, and its other value is AC ' 97. This option can be found in the onboard device settings (onboard Devices) in the BIOS setup. Or appear in the Advanced-chipset-southbridge.

This value is set in the BIOS to match the connector type of the front panel audio connector of the host enclosure. Usually only one connector is AC ' 97, if there are two connectors, you need to follow the BIOS value to connect to the motherboard, of course, another type of connector will be marked HD Audio.

Now, when you see the window heading "Master Volume" screen, front and Pink in the adjustment slider please pull to the top. The front Pink in the bottom of the "mute" is checked, does not affect the sound card recording function. The mute here is only for real-time microphone playback, if you do not tick, you speak to the microphone, the speaker will immediately replay the sound of your transmission. The recommended setting is mute. Note that the mute at the bottom of the front in this window is not selectable.

Then select the Realtek HD Audio input in the mixer, the same window will automatically switch to "recording", and the third part of the window recommended all check.

Now open the Recording Control window and notice the text at the bottom of all the sliders, which may be "mute" or "select". This is the different type of sound card corresponding to the various settings.

When mute, the microphone volume cannot be muted, the line volume and CD volume can be muted to reduce noise interference, and there is a "recording control" in the Type window, which will be the highest and also cannot be muted.

When you select, you can only check the microphone individually.
