There are often two questions on the Forum:

Peter nowaks's blog post creating managed services in Windows Mobile by using. NET Compact framework. He has compiled a class library for this and you can find it on codeplex.

Christopher Fairbairn wrote the "Today" screen class library for the second question, facilitating code hosting developers.
