Stickies work like post-it notes for your PC. Notes can be customized and saved as styles, including fonts, colours, and buttons. Notes can is resized or snapped to each others edges to keep them lined up. They can also is hidden for a certain period, until a specified date and time, or to wake every day, week or month, to act As reminders.
It's a "desktop sticker" software.
- Compared with the old classic Atnotes, the biggest advantage of stickies is to support rich Text Format (fonts, pictures, lists, etc.) and network transmission;
- Open source Pnotes function is also very powerful, but I think pnotes function is a bit messy, menus and toolbars are dazzling;
Some of the more good features:
- Binds a note to a program window, and when the window is minimized, the note is also hidden;
- Timed reminders;
- Network transmission (very useful in LAN-after all, there is no other means);
- 8.0 added desktop stack, you can put the posts on the desktop to be stored;
This software can actually be used as a note-taking software/knowledge base, but I have several office computers, after a period of time always remember what things to remember what computer, and then only used to record some temporary things, and rely on its "network send" function to pass some text, pictures and so on.
