Red Hat Linux Redis installation configuration

Recently in learning Redis, the initial attempt at Red Hat Linux service installation is always unsuccessful, after several attempts finally configured successfully, the process is now organized as follows:

Server environment: Red Hat enterpriserver Linux 6.5

Redis Version: 3.2.1

1 Download the redis corresponding version file from http://www.redis.net.cn/download/redis-3.2.1.tar.gz

2 Place the downloaded file in the/usr/directory

3 Unzip the file by command:

Tar xzf redis-3.2.1.tar.gz

This step is very important, need to explain that must be done on the Linux server, if it is under Windows with the decompression software first extracted after the extracted files directory uploaded to the Linux server subsequent installation will not be successful

4 Switch to/usr/redis-3.2.1 directory execution:

Make

5 and then do it again.

Make install

6 when the above steps are complete, switch to the/USR/REDIS-3.2.1/SRC directory and execute

Redis-server

7 If you can see the following interface, it proves that Redis has been installed successfully.
