Package download to McAfee official website (http://www.mcafee.com) Redhat 6 and earlier versions only McAfee 1.9

32-bit Pam and LIBGCC must be installed first

# yum Install pam.i686

# yum Install libgcc.i686

# tar ZXFV mcafeevseforlinux-1.9.0.28822-eval-full.noarch.tar.gz

# tar ZXFV mcafeevseforlinux-1.9.0.28822-eval.tar.gz

# tar ZXFV mcafeevseforlinux-1.9.0.28822-others.tar.gz

# rpm-i MFErt.i686.deb

# rpm-i MFEcma.i686.deb

#./mcafeevseforlinux-1.9.0.28822-installer

Accept

Enter (Nailsgroup)

Enter (nails)

Password

Enter (/opt/nai/linuxshield)

Enter (/var/opt/nai/linuxshield)

Enter (/quarantine)

To modify the Nails password command:

#/opt/nai/linuxshield/bin/nails passwd

Restart CMA

#/ETC/INIT.D/CMA Restart

Restart Nails

#/etc/init.d/nails Restart

Uninstalling McAfee:

# RPM-E McAfeeVSEForLinux-2.0.1.29052

# RPM-E Mfert

# RPM-E MFECMA
