RedHat 7.0 Firefox browser installation and update

Step: 1. Download; 2. Can be used after decompression, but also replace the old version of Firefox

1. Https://www.mozilla.org/en_US/firefox/new

2. TAR-JXF firefox-50.1.0.tar.bz2 (non-root user)

CD firefox/

./firefox

You can also double-click Firefox to open

Note: You cannot open two different versions of the Firefox browser at the same time

3. Su Root

Rpm-qa | grep Firefox (show firefox-24.5.0-1.el7.x86_64)

rm-rf/usr/lib64/firefox/*

Cp-r/home/labuser/download/firefox/*/user/lib64/firefox/

Rpm-qa | grep Firefox (also shows firefox-24.5.0-1.el7.x86_64, which is why?) )

Click App--Firefox Web Browser to open Firefox browser
