Zhcon needs to run in text mode and cannot be used in X Windows.
By ctrl-alt-F1 you can directly switch to text mode (command line mode), and then directly enter zhcon to run it.
If a segment error occurs, CP the src/zhcon. conf file to the/etc directory.

 

To display Chinese characters on the xwindows terminal, modify the/etc/sysconfig/i18n file.
Modify the Lang and language variables to the Chinese Code zh_cn.gb18030.
This is the Chinese text displayed in the file opened with VI or some garbled characters. Modify the terminal font.
Choose terminal menu Edit> Configuration File> Edit> cancel the same font size option as other applications.
Then you can select the font --> select ar PL kaitim GB to display both Chinese and English perfectly. It seems that other fonts are not very good.
