Some software packages have been installed and deleted under RedHat. After the system is restarted, there is no gnome Desktop. The system directly enters the twm mode and is not used to it. At that time, I did not know the reason and found some answers, I finally found that gnome desktop was damaged, so I reinstalled the desktop environment # yumremovegnome-desktop # yuminstallgnome * # switchdesk select gnome-desktop OK, restart, and solve the problem.

# Yum remove gnome-desktop
# Yum install gnome *
# Switchdesk
Select gnome-desktop
OK, restart, and solve the problem.
This problem also gave me the command switchdesk to switch the desktop.
If you have multiple desktops and want to change the desktop environment, you only need to run switchdesk and restart the Xwindow service.
