RedHat, a world-leading open-source solution provider in Raleigh, North Carolina, today announced that, alibaba Cloud will recognize and support the open and unrestricted integration protocol Advanced Message Queue Protocol (AMQP) for business message delivery ).

As a member of the AMQP Working Group, the Red Hat leader established the first open message transfer protocol standard AMQP. Since its inception, the company has made a key contribution to this Agreement, including developing and editing AMQP specifications.

RedHat makes such a contribution because it is believed that AMQP standards have extended the interoperability between the enterprise and the outside. Since the initial proposal of AMQP, RedHat has been its main investor. The company believes that AMQP is a key infrastructure component of next-generation solutions. The next-generation solutions need to integrate resources to break through the boundaries of traditional enterprises. These boundaries were once the focus of traditional suppliers. RedHat also believes that AMQP1.0 was officially approved in the near future and AMQP workgroup was incorporated into the AMQP branch of the newly established organization for the promotion of Structured Information Standards (OASIS, it is a milestone in the development of Internet commercial message transfer protocols and shows their relevance with future enterprises.

The AMQP Working Group held an opening ceremony in New York today, highlighting the report of one of the RedHat clients on the German stock exchange. The European futures exchange (Eurex), a derivative of the German stock exchange, has deployed the RedHat Enterprise MRG Messaging as an integrated architecture of AMQP-based risk systems.

"The German stock exchange uses AMQP, which is the best embodiment of the powerful functions of this agreement ." "It highlights the benefits of open messaging protocols and the business benefits of evolving interconnectivity," said Carl Trieloff, Technical Director of RedHat and long-term contributor to the AMQP Working Group, using this award-winning solution, the German stock exchange is seamlessly connected to more than 100 different settlement member organizations. Now, as one of the founders of OASIS standards, we look forward to the real growth of AMQP-based message delivery solutions ."

With the popularity of open message transmission, RedHat has further enhanced its support for AMQP standards, as shown in the company's JBoss Enterprise-oriented service structure (SOA) the platform and JEE application server have made significant new improvements. These products now support the Red Hat Enterprise MRG Messaging built on AMQP to improve and use the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB.. NET or C ++ applications and other non-Java platform data services interoperability.

The company's investment in AMQP was also manifested in the fact that last year RedHat released an application programming interface (API) abstracted from the basic version of AMQP protocol ). This is to facilitate the customer's transition to AMQP1.0 and provide phased flip for existing deployment when AMQP1.0 can be used in products.

"As a whole, AMQP's approval as a standard and open protocol for message-based communication is a milestone for customers and information technology ." Craig Muzilla, general manager of RedHat middleware department and vice president of the company, said, "We believe that the adoption of message-based systems will bring a strong momentum of development. Customers will enjoy innovative products faster and will not feel locked. RedHat is committed to making AMQP an important force of change, and we have applied AMQP to message transmission and other JBoss middleware solutions ."
