VMware Tools is an enhancement tool inherent in vmwarevm, which is equivalent to the enhancement function (Sun VirtualBox Guest Additions) in VirtualBox ), is a driver provided by VMware to enhance the performance of virtual graphics cards and hard disks, as well as synchronize virtual machines and host clocks.
Only after VMware Tools is installed on the vmwarevm can the file sharing between the host and the VM be realized, and the drag-and-drop function is supported, you can also move the mouse freely before the VM and host (without pressing ctrl + alt), and the virtual machine screen can also be fully screen.

To use an optical drive file in linux, copy the file to the local hard drive, and copy the file to the root directory "temp". You can right-click and paste the file or use the command.
