Solution:
VMware Tools needs to be installed after multiple online queries. The specific process is as follows:
1) Start the vmwarevm and log on as the root user.
Note: At this time must be in the Virtual Drive to install the third disc-"shrike-i386-disc3"
2) Attach the disc to a virtual machine. For simple operations, choose Red Hat> System Tools> disk management>/dev/cdrom.
3) on the Virtual Machine VM, VM Install VMware Tools, you can see the pop-up VMware Tools compressed package, copy the VMware Tools-5.5.3-34685.tar.gz to the "/tmp.
4) type "cd/tmp" on the terminal to enter the/tmp folder, type "tar xfzv VMware Tools-5.5.3-34685.tar.gz" to decompress the package, and the vmware-tools-distrib folder is generated.
5) type cd/vmware-tools-distrib on the terminal to enter the folder and you will see the vmware-install.pl file.
6) type ". /vmware-install.pl "[Note: there is a point in front of] run the program, after the crash will pop up a series of problems, you can always press enter to confirm (you can also set), and finally there will be a resolution list, enter the preceding number based on the resolution you want to set, press enter, and restart Red Hat ~~
7) to set the screen resolution in the future, you only need to set the screen resolution by "Red Hat"> "system settings"> "display". The setting takes effect only after each setting.
