Prepare the image files of five CDs!

Tool used: UltraISO

1. Use UltraISO to open the image file RHEL4-U5-i386-AS-disc1.iso for the first disc

2. Extract the. discinfo file under the root directory to the desktop.

3. Open it with notepad

Open it in notepad and modify it:

Save and add the file back to replace the old one!

4. use UltraISO to open the image files of other CDs and extract all the files under the directory/RedHat/RPMS (yes. RPM file) to a Temporary Folder Temp (it does not matter if there are duplicates, because there is only one TRANS. the TBL file will be repeated, and the file will be deleted at the end .)

5. Then, add all the files in the Temporary Folder Temp you just extracted to the/RedHat/RPMS directory on the master disk.

6. Delete all TRANS. TBL files in the master disk, including the TRANS. TBL files in all directories.

7. Select "properties..." under "file" and select the optimized file on the "File System" tab! The purpose of this step is to make the saved file not surprisingly large! Save the settings! It will take some time to complete! A useless file (a smaller one) may be added later )! Delete it. The other one is a new product!

8. The RHEL4-U5-i386-AS-dvd.iso can be named 2.2G.
