Expansion of colleges and universities should be a good thing, which is conducive to the improvement of the quality of the people, the increase of high-level talents and the growth of intellectual power, and the reform and opening up of China and economic development; however, the reform of higher education ignores a fundamental problem: the improvement of the quality of the people, the increase of high-level talents, and the growth of intellectual power need to be achieved through education, instead of simply sending more people to college. The fact is that colleges and universities expand their enrollment while increasing the number of students in large numbers, but they have not improved their teacher and student learning environments; the increase in the number of students and the lack of teachers can only result in a decline in the level of education and a decline in the quality of students, which is really sad compared with the original intention. In recent years, the decline in the quality of college students and the disregard of college students have a direct relationship with the expansion of colleges and universities.

 

As the number of college students increases year by year, the number of college graduates is also increasing. The work of natural graduates is increasingly difficult to find and the wages are getting lower and lower. This situation may be good news for enterprises: more students mean more choices; lower wages mean less investment. However, this is not the case. enterprises face so many college students who often feel that no one can recruit and no one is available. Why? Lower education levels, non-standard management of colleges and universities, and backward production of teaching power can only be unqualified products. I really don't know who is the winner of this farce?

 

the expansion of colleges and universities has finally reduced the proportion of enrollment, the expansion of the master's students ended with a slowdown. It may be two or three years later that it is the turn of the doctoral students to expand their enrollment. Compared with the expansion of undergraduate students, the expansion of graduate students is more harmful. Graduate students know that most of their time at school is on the subject; however, the increase in the number of students will inevitably lead to the lack of mentors, laboratory shortage and lack of equipment. The problem is true, but there seems to be more ways for colleges and universities to solve the problem of graduate enrollment. Are there too many students? Well, Let's combine a school with an enterprise, students go to work in the enterprise ( famous practice ) , then, the company will pay a certain training fee (generally more than 1500) to the school and tutor each month. Of course, the money is deducted from the student's salary. The problem is solved, but we can see from the eyes that this is a disguised form of diploma sales. I really don't know how graduate students face social comments two or three years later.

 

I am not very familiar with the thesis system of colleges and universities, but one thing is certain: the number of papers published by university teachers and students is linked to their titles, salaries, and status, this is also the main reason why Colleges and Universities pursue the number of papers regardless of the quality. There is no error in using the paper as an evaluation basis, but as the only basis (in fact the only one), it would be a big mistake.
