regsvr32.exe use: For your XP to lose weight

Wndows XP's "weight" has become a "big fat man" compared to other systems. Optimized "slimming" skills are already covered by major it newspapers and magazines, looking at Windows XP "Windows" of hundreds of DLL (dynamic link library) files, to make the system more refreshing, We can use the Regsvr32.exe program to re-register the repair and anti-registration screen system functions to reduce system resources.

Regsvr32.exe is a DLL registration and anti-registration tool used under 32-bit systems that must be used on a command-line basis, in the form of:

regsvr32 [/u] [/s] [/n] [/i[:cmdline]] DLL file name

The command can be in the start → run text box, or you can write a good command in the bat batch document beforehand. Without any parameters is the registration DLL file function, the other parameters correspond to the following functions:

/u: Anti-registration DLL file;

/s: Quiet mode (silent) executes the command, that is, the result balloon is not displayed if the DLL file is successfully registered/unregistered.

/C: Control port;

/I: Call DllInstall when using/u to reverse register;

/n: Do not invoke DllRegisterServer, it must be used with/I.

Run the Regsvr32.exe program individually, you can see an error box that pops up a "No DLL name specified", and you can see the original English prompt for the argument (Figure 1).

When you enter a DLL file name, if you are dealing with a system-neutral file, you must add the file absolute path before the file name, and you must be aware that the file path does not contain Chinese, or it is likely to result in processing failure. If the regsvr32 does not run correctly, it is likely that the system files will be corrupted because Regsvr32.exe is invoked to Kernel32.dll, User32.dll and Ole32.dll three files can be resolved in DOS mode or other system replacement of normal files.
