Re-install the Network Driver Under Vmware-Debian Technology for the Linux release. The following is a detailed description. Today, I changed my new machine, and it wasn't long before I got so upset. When the original Debian virtual machine is started, the network cannot be used.

The problem is caused by a problem with the network driver. It seems that the driver module cannot drive the NIC of the VM.

Solve the problem (this is the prompt when VmWare tools is installed ):
/Etc/init. d/networking stop/* stop the Network */
Rmmod pcnet32
Rmmod vmxnet
Depmod-
Modprobe vmxnet/* re-load the vmxnet module */
/Etc/init. d/networking start/* restart the Network */
