Relatively secure PHP settings on the server

Note the following when installing php by default:

C: winntphp. ini only grants the users read permission. In php. ini, you need to make the following settings:

Safe_mode = on
Register_globals = Off
Allow_url_fopen = Off
Display_errors = Off
Magic_quotes_gpc = On [the default value is on, but you need to check it again]

Open_basedir = web directory
Disable_functions = passthru, exec, shell_exec, system, phpinfo, get_cfg_var, popen, chmod
