Release of Ruby development plug-in for NetBeans IDE 7.1

Recently, Tom Enebo released a Community Ruby development plug-in for NetBeans IDE 7.1.

After installing the plug-in NetBeans IDE 7.1, you can see a Projects window on the left, showing the structured view of the Ruby project, and the Ruby editor on the right.

Plug-in download: community-ruby_7_1_preview1.zip

The installation procedure is as follows:

Choose tools> plug-ins from NetBeans IDE 7.1.

Select the "Download" tab

Click "add plug-in ..."

Browse to the decompressed nbms file directory

Select all files with the. nbms Extension

Accept and install

After installation, you can start your development work through "file"> "new project" as usual, then select the Ruby or Ruby on Rails template that has been registered through the plug-in.
