I believe that we use MySQL have overweight experience, if the reload MySQL is basically in the last step through but, unless the operating system, the reason is that the system's registry is not deleted clean. Here are some of the lessons I've summed up: the lesson of blood

MySQL problem, reload is very depressing thing, is a crash, one needs to record once

When installed, sometimes it appears could not start the service MySQL error:0 Hint error.

Solution steps:

1, start-mysql-mysql server 5.1-mysql server Instance Config wizard-next-remove Instance.

2, into the Add removal program, to find the MySQL selection uninstall, select Remove.

3. Enter the registration form.

3.1, view the key values under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services, if there is a relevant MySQL key value (MySQL, mysqladmin) is deleted, you can;
3.2, see hkey_local_machine\system\controlset001\services\eventlog\application\ under the MySQL directory will be deleted.

3.3, see hkey_local_machine\system\controlset002\services\eventlog\application\ under the MySQL directory will be deleted.

3.4, look at the hkey_local_machine\system\controlset001\services under the MySQL key value, there is delete, you can.

3.5, look at the hkey_local_machine\system\controlset002\services under the MySQL key value, there is delete, you can.

3.6, look at the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services under the MySQL key value, there is delete, you can.

4. Delete the MySQL directory under the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data Directory.

5, enter the MySQL installation directory, delete the directory.

6, enter the registry search keyword MySQL to see if there is a relationship with MySQL;

You do not need to reboot your computer to reinstall it directly.

Note: Before reinstalling MySQL, it is best to back up the database.

Special Tip: Note that the log file is very critical, for MySQL, if what is difficult to solve the problem, first check the data under the. err file is king.

1, in the "Run" type regedit into the registry.

2, Heky_local_machine\software\mysql directory deletion

3, Hkey_local_machine\system\controlset001\services\eventlog\application\mysql directory deletion

4, Hkey_local_machine\system\controlset002\services\eventlog\application\mysql directory deletion

5, Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\eventlog\application\mysql directory to delete the ControlSet001 in the registry, CONTROLSET002, not necessarily 001 and 002, may be ControlSet005, 006, and so on, delete the time, all can be deleted

6, delete C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ under the MySQL folder

7, the last uninstall MySQL.

8, delete the MySQL installation path under the folder.

9, it is best to restart the computer.

ok! (Yun-Habitat community Small tip: At present, the above method in the MySQL version is MySQL 5.0 can be a successful reload, the other version needs to be verified)

(Of course Windows7 Uninstall after the MySQL does not seem to have more than a few registry entries, so under the Windows7 can be normal reload)
