The database Data directory holds more than one folder in a database, where Ib_logfile0, Ib_logfile1, Ibdata1, and three files are files that must be moved to the new database data directory.

1) Close the database

net stop MySQL (note: The MYSQLA process can be closed through the service)

2) Move the three IB files in the original data to the new database data directory

Three IB files to copy and replace a new database

3) Move the original database file to the data directory
