When you sign in using your Yahoo! ID and password, your browser can "remember" this information. we do this with something called a persistent cookie. if you check the "Keep me signed in", with a few quota tions, clicking this box allows you to remain loged in, even if you leave Yahoo!
Note: For security you will be asked to re-enter your Yahoo! ID and password when you access certain personalized services like Yahoo! Mail or when you access your account information.
If you are on a public computer don not check this box. Make sure to click "sign out" and close your browser when you leave a public computer.
You can sign out of Yahoo! Personalized services at any time by clicking "sign out" link at the top of each page. after you have signed out, you can sign in again and choose whether your browser "remembers" or not.

Remember my account number is an optional feature and is intended for use at home, work, or another private computer. the feature shoshould not be set up in an Internet café, library, or on any computer you share with people you don't know or trust.
If you choose this feature, Shaw direct will save your account number by attempting * to place a secure account number recognition cookie on your computer. your Shaw direct account number will be stored safely and securely in the cookie.
When you visit the self serve section of shawdirect. ca, your Shaw direct account number will appear automatically each time you sign in from the same computer.
For added security, you will still be required to type in your password.
Shaw direct does not limit the number of computers on which you can select this feature. the cookie will be saved for six months, after which you will be required to enter your account number again for the remember my account number option that will last another six months. you will also be required to enter your account number if you delete your cookies within Internet Options.
* Note: computer settings and/or programs may block the actual placement of the Shaw direct account number recognition cookie in which case you will be asked to provide your account number on your next sign in.
