Remote client connection to MySQL database is too slow solution

When deploying the platform scheme, remote connection to the MySQL database in the LAN may be slow, with a delay of about 10 seconds.

It is likely that DNS reverse resolution is enabled on the MySQL server installed by default, but the DNS server used on the MySQL server is faulty.

Solution 1:

(Ubuntu environment) vi/etc/MySQL/My. CNF

Write in [mysqld]: Skip-name-resolve

This option disables DNS resolution, and the connection speed is much faster.

However, in this case, the host name cannot be used in the MySQL authorization table, but only in IP Format.

Solution 2:

Configure the correct DNS Server IP address on the MySQL server

(Ubuntu environment) vi/etc/resolv. conf

Modify or add: nameserver 8.8.8.8

If you cannot access the Internet, replace 8.8.8.8 with the IP address of the DNS server deployed in the LAN.
