Many of my work in a friend's unit is done through a LAN. As a network Maintainer of the Organization, he often finds that some computers have problems such as system instability, crashes, and application software cannot be used due to accidental deletion. The computer cannot install the operating system and other application software because the optical drive is not easy to use. What should we do? Sharing is certainly a solution, but it is not the safest. In fact, there is another better method. Here I want to introduce it to you. It is a better method-using remote control to achieve file sharing. The following takes Windows 98 as an example.
1. Set
Set the controller. Because the LAN is used and in the same domain, you must first enter the user, password, and domain to enter the domain. Go to the "control panel", open the "password" option, click the "Remote Management" tab, and check the "enable remote management of this server" option, enter the control password in the password and Confirm Password column.
Tip: people who do not know the password cannot control the computer. After setting this item, you can set Remote Control with peace of mind.
Set the control party. Similarly, you must first enter the domain, and then enter "Control Panel" to open "Add/Delete ". Program "Option, select the" Windows Installer "tab, tick" System Tools ", and click" details "to enter, check the "Network Monitor" in the "System Tools" component and click "OK ".
Tip: If you need a Windows 98 System File, put the Windows 98 installation disc into the optical drive.
2. Use
Click "program> attachment> System Tools" to enable the network monitor. After entering the network monitor, click "Server> Select Server" in the menu bar, enter the remote computer name in the prompt bar displayed, or click browse to find the computer. After confirmation, a prompt box will pop up asking you to enter the password. The password here is the password you set on the controlled computer, in addition, in the prompt box, remove the "Save Password to password list" check box.
Tip: If a check box is checked, other people can remotely control the computer without entering a password.
Now you can see that you have connected to the controlled computer. On the title bar, you can see "1 connected to \ xx" (here XX is the name of the computer on which the controlled computer is located ), the user of the remote control computer shown below is zxb, and the computer name is Zhao xiaobin. From your network neighbors, we can see that all the hard drive of the computer is completely shared, but other computers in the same domain do not see any trace of the computer being shared. Now, you can copy the required files to the controlled computer.
Tip: After the problem is solved, you must uninstall the "Network Monitor, the method is to go to "Control Panel> Add/delete Programs> System Tools" and remove the check box before "network monitor.
Summary
Through the above three methods, we can see how the three commonly used desktop operating systems achieve remote control. After mastering these skills, you can seek help from each other on the Internet and solve the difficulties we encounter in practical use.
In fact, in addition to the built-in functions of the system, remote control can also be implemented through some tools and software, such as glaciers, red spider, pcAnywhere, netmeeting, and remotelyanywhere.
