Remote connection MySQL, 10038 issues

When you install the MySQL 5.5 database under Ubuntu Server and then connect through Navicat for MySQL under Windows, the Can ' t connect to MySQL server on xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (10038 ) problem.

The solution is as follows:

1. Authorization

Mysql>grant all privileges on * * to ' root ' @ '% ' identified by ' Youpassword ' with GRANT option;

Mysql>flush privileges;

2, modify the/etc/mysql/my.conf

Find bind-address = 127.0.0.1 this line

Change to bind-address = 0.0.0.0
