Step 3

Select Settings from the control menu

2. Select Host-only Adapter for network connection.

3. Start Ubuntu 11.10

Enter ifconfig on the terminal. The eth0 configuration information is displayed.

4. SecureCRT connecting to Ubuntu 11.10

Select SSH2 for the communication protocol. Enter the Linux IP address, 192.168.56.101 on the author's computer, and then enter the user name and password. Then the success is achieved ~~

I used to use SecureCRT to operate Linux and changed the Ubuntu11.10 system. No network connection was found to have been selected to use NAT, and the local machine could not be pinged to the virtual machine. It was later discovered that it was a problem with VirtualBox network settings.
