One, there are three ways to delete a site collection:
1. Open the SharePoint 2013 Admin page First---> Click on ' Application Management (Application Management) ' and go to this page---> click ' Delete a site collection Collection) ' and open the page---> select the site collection you want to delete and click the ' Delete ' button in the lower-right corner---> complete the deletion.
2. Open the top site of the site collection you want to delete---> click the Gear button in the top right corner of the page---> select ' Site Settings ' in the drop-down menu and open the page---> Find ' site Actions) ' group and click the ' delete site ' hyperlink under this group---> Open the Delete page and click the ' Delete ' button in the bottom right corner to complete the deletion.
3. Delete with PowerShell command: remove-spsite-identity [url]| [ID]. As steps:
Site collections that are deleted by the first two methods are not returned to any one of the recycle bins, and are stored in the Spdeletedsite object, so to restore a deleted site collection, you must use Windows PowerShell to recover!
The third way to remove the site collection will be to completely remove and not be recoverable!!!
Second, use the SharePoint Management Shell to restore the deleted site collection:
1. Use the ' get-spdeletedsite ' command to locate the deleted site collection. (This step is not required if you know the detailed data for the site collection.) For a detailed description of the commands and parameters of ' Get-spdeletedsite ', refer to this article. )
