Remove duplicate files from the network disk

Now many people like to use the network disk to store some important files, or to share the files of others into their own network disk. But a long time will inevitably appear, some different names but the same content of the file, which will occupy too much disk space. So how do you quickly parse these duplicate files and remove them from the disk space?

　　1. Self-function Quick Scan

Because many netizens have similar demand, so some network disk operators have developed the corresponding functions. For example, to remove duplicate files in the fast disk, first in the system tray to find the icon of the fast disk, double-click it into the fast disk synchronization directory. Then click on the right panel in the "File Analysis" function, in the pop-up dialog box click the "Start Analysis" button, so that the fast-disk client began to analyze the stored files. When the analysis is complete, click on the "duplicate file" command in the window, and the client will display the duplicate file in the form of a list.

When the user wants to delete one of the files, click the "View" button after the file name (Figure 1). Then the client will automatically jump to the directory of the file, then delete the file, and then the client to synchronize, so that the cloud of duplicate files have been deleted.

In addition to the fast disk, 360 cloud disk clients also have similar functions. Users only need to click on the 360 Cloud Disk client Toolbar "full-featured" button, in the pop-up window click "File to Heavy" command. The operation is similar to a fast disk.

Small tip:

The duplicate file mentioned above refers to a file with the same hash value as the file. For files with the same name but with different content, you can't count the same file.

　2. Cloud service analysis and judgment

Of course, not all clients have similar functions, such as 115 network disk to put similar functions into the cloud server inside. First log into your own 115 network, click the "File" button in the function list, so you can enter the directory where the file is stored. Then click the "..." button at the top right of the window and click on the "File Weight" command in the pop-up menu, so the cloud starts to analyze the duplicate files in the cloud disk. When the analysis is complete select unwanted files, if more than duplicate files can directly click the "Select Duplicate File" button, so the cloud will automatically help users select duplicate files (see Figure 2). Finally click the "More Action" button, in the pop-up menu select "Delete" command, you can delete the duplicate file.

　　3. Third-party software assistance

Of course, there are network operators, neither on the client nor in the cloud to provide similar functions, this time can only be aided by Third-party software. For example, we first run the "duplicate file scanner" software, and then click the "Add" button to select the network disk Synchronization directory. Then click on the "Scan" button to analyze the operation, after the analysis is completed, you can manually select duplicate files, you can also click the "Auto Select" button to allow software to assist operation (Figure 3). Finally click the "Clean file" button can be deleted duplicate files, and then use the client to do a synchronous operation, you can store in the network of duplicate files deleted. However, this method is limited to synchronizing file-handling in a folder, and is powerless for other folders in the network disk.
