Abstract
When the iPhone/iPad is connected to a PC, the iTunes folder will automatically copy and synchronize data each time. However, this is a good idea, however, each operation consumes a long amount of time, which is also less than the peak hard drive space, or you may want to disable the automatic copy function, manually copy and synchronize data.
Introduction
Use environment: Windows XP SP3 + iTunes 10.2.2.12
1. Set using Gui
I don't know if iTunes starts from a certain version. I have already enabled the GUI to set the auto-manual parts.
Preference> preference> Reset tab
After the idevice is connected to USB, iTunes will still be automatically triggered, but it will be quietly removed from automatic synchronization and copying.
2. Modify the settings
If your iTunes version has been changed, you must manually change the settings.
Step 1: Enable nesprefs. xml
Location: C: \ Documents and Settings \ oomusou \ Application Data \ Apple Computer \ iTunes \ itunesprefs. xml
Oomusou is named user
Step 2: Search for user strings
Locate the <key> user preferences </key> section and add the following automaticdevicebackupsdisabled variable to save the Parameter
1 < Key > User preferences </ Key >
2 < Dict >
3 < Key > Automaticdevicebackupsdisabled </ Key >
4 < Data >
5 Dhj1zq =
6 </ Data >
In fact, the last setting of the GUI is stored in itunesprefs. xml.
