Ii. Image Capturing Skills

1. Directly output to Studio
In snagit, the image is output to the preview window by default, although you can click the studio button in the "snagit capture preview" window to send the currently captured image to studio for further processing. However, I always don't think it is convenient to use the following techniques: first, select "image editor" under the "output" menu, and do not select the "preview window" option, after you press the capture hotkey, you can directly send the captured image to studio for your processing.

2. capture images continuously
Sometimes do you think you want to capture a certain image, but it takes too short time to stay on the screen, so it is too slow to catch it because it is too slow? Click the "output" menu to cancel all the options except the "file" command, and then click the "properties" command to open the window shown in 4, under "File Format", select an image file format to be saved, select "Automatic File Name" under "file name", and click the button next to "Output Folder, select an output folder, such as C:/PIC. Select "option"> "scheduled capture" to open the "timer settings" dialog box. Click the "timer catcher" tab, select the "Activate timer catcher" check box, select the "second" radio button under "Frequency", and enter the specific time in "Capture frequency, if you enter 1, the system allows snagit to capture a painting every second. Click OK to exit. Press the "OK" button to exit.
After you press the capture hotkey and select the window to be crawled, snagit captures the window Image Based on the frequency you set in the window 13 in the figure. And take them to SNAG-0000.BMP, SNAG-0001.BMP, SNAG-0002.BMP, SNAG-0003.BMP ...... Saved to the C:/PIC folder.
Tips
★The smaller the time setting, the more frequently the image is captured. With it, you can capture a lot of Operation images on the screen for a period of time, even if some flash, it will also be captured by snagit. Finally, go to the capture folder, double-click the folder, and use ACDSee to review it before and after, and you will surely find the fleeting valuable image!
★When capturing an image, the screen may flash. This is a normal phenomenon, indicating that snagit is working properly and the screen content is captured.
★If you do not want to capture an image during the process of capturing an snagit image, you only need to press the capture hotkey again. The snagit pop-up dialog box appears, click "yes" to stop, and click "no" to continue capturing.

3. Get the image directly from the scanner
The image scanning function is available in snagit. You can also directly capture images in the scanner by selecting the twain option under the "input" → "advanced" menu and then connecting the scanner, press the capture key to start the "Twain" interface in windows, and scan the image directly to the preview window to achieve one-step installation.
Tips
★Note that the scanner setting window may pop up during the first use for you to choose a scanner.
★To use this function, you must install the scanner driver in the system and the scanner driver complies with the standard Twain interface in windows, the general scanner driver can meet the requirements.

4. Capture snagit itself
When you use snagit to capture images, you can only capture other windows. If you want to create a snagit manual, you need to intercept the content in the window, but snagit cannot start the second copy. In this case, you can click the "options"> "parameter settings" command and select the "Program Options" tab in the "program parameter settings" window, deselect the "Hide snagit before capturing" option to use snagit to crawl any content in the snagit window.
Tips
★However, this will affect the capture of other windows. Please select this option after capturing the content of the snagit window.

5. Capture hierarchical menus
Menus are the most common interaction mode in windows. Sometimes some program menus must be crawled to illustrate the problem, but some menus are hierarchical (that is, there are sub-Menus under the first-level menu ), generally, the image capture software cannot capture images, that is, the default settings of snagit cannot be captured. In this case, select "enter"> "properties", open the "Enter properties" Setting dialog box, and select the "menu" tab, select the "including menu bar" and "Capture cascade menu" items to capture the hierarchical menu.

6. Capture the scroll window
When you browse a website, you will often encounter many windows that exceed the screen height. snagit allows you to capture them all at once: Select the "auto scroll" option under the "input" menu first, select the "properties" command under the "input" menu, and select the "two" option under the "scrolling" tab in the window that appears. Next, press the capture hot key and move the mouse over the window with a scroll bar. When the mouse turns into a scroll icon, click the mouse key to select the scroll window and click the left mouse button. Snagit will automatically scroll down and capture all the content.

7. process images in the snagit capture window
Generally, the "preview window" option under the snagit "output" menu is selected to enable snagit to capture images in the "snagit capture window, and press the "Save as" button to save the image. In fact, there are many functions in the "snagit capture window". For example, after you frame a part with the mouse, you can press the "trim" button on the toolbar to cut the selected part. Press the copy button to copy it to the clipboard. At the same time, there are many image processing functions in the image, color, effect, and other menus. They can be cleverly used to add color to our images!
Tips
★If an incorrect operation is found, select the "Restore" command under the "edit" menu.
★There are many menu commands worth using in the image, color, and effect menus, which can be used to process the most effective image capture.
★Press the studio button on the toolbar to send snagit to the snagit studio image editor for further processing. For more information about the image editor function of snagit studio, see the relevant sections.

8. Let the image carry our own text
Sometimes, due to the need of publicity, I really want to add a note to my image, such as adding the author's name, the date of the screenshot, And the copyright statement, which can be easily implemented through snagit: select the "annotation" command under the snagit "filter" menu, and then select the corresponding annotation method, such as custom generation or automatic generation by the system. Comments will be automatically added to images captured later.
Tips
★You can set the style, position, Font, text color, background color, shadow color, and thumbnail color of a text.
★The system automatically generates comments. You can select "computer name", "User Name", "Time/date", "computer name", "User Name", and "time and date.
★You can use the two annotation methods at the same time, but make sure that the location of the annotation is different. If the location of the annotation you set is the same as that automatically generated by the system, snagit will ignore the annotation you have defined and only use the automatically generated annotation. If you want to improve efficiency, you are advised to use the second method. Don't you think so?

9. automatically add borders
If you want to add a border function to your image to make it more personalized, you can do this: Select the "border" command under the snagit "filter" menu to open the setting window. Select the "show boundary" check box. "frame outside the image" indicates that the border is outside the image. This option is generally selected. You can adjust the "total width" and "shadow width" with a mouse click. The adjusted result is displayed in the sample image on the right. The "Main Part color" is used to set the border color. The default value is black. If "3D effect" is selected, the "highlight area color" and "shadow color" items below will be activated to set the highlighted color and shadow color respectively.

10. Capture more distinctive Images
It is also a major feature of snagit to enable some image processing during image capturing by snagit. Although it is impossible to have powerful image editing functions like Photoshop, the general operation is more than enough. For example, the commands under "filter"> "image proportion" can flip the image freely and scale down the actual image proportionally; the "filter"> "color effect" command can control the brightness, contrast, and other effects of the image.
