Microsoft has released an official plugin, "node. js Tools for Visual Studio (Ntvs)", which introduces the node. JS Support feature to the Visual studio IDE, and the plug-in turns VS into a node. JS development environment.

node. JS is an event-driven I/O server-side JavaScript environment based on the Google V8 engine. Ntvs released the source code under the Apache License 2.0 license, and the project development team had previously launched Python Tools for Visual Studio. Ntvs supports editing, IntelliSense, performance analysis, Node's NPM Package Manager, and debugging capabilities. The newly released Ntvs plugin is an Alpha version.
