1. Request UID

In Https://www.symbiansigned.com, after the application to the account login, select "My Symbian signed", the following figure 1

Then choose "Uidsàrequest", you will appear in the above page, according to your own software requirements to select different types of UID, in the current page for different types of detailed description. I chose "Protected Range", which is 3 in figure.

On this page, there are two items that must be filled in. The name of the organization (organization name) is best when you apply for the account and fill in the same. Quantity (Quantity) can be easily filled, no more than 20.

Then select "Submit".

A page appears with a list of the UID you requested. I didn't save the page, so I couldn't show it to everyone.

Note that the UID is not sent to the applicant by e-mail, but directly on the submitted page. Because there are always Internet error pages in these steps, and I didn't look at the help when I applied, I mistakenly thought I had sent the application to Symbian, as long as I had to wait for email. Then I continued to submit, and finally succeeded in giving 3 protected uid!
