Requirements of new specifications on cabling systems

In the integrated cabling system, the IDC cabling engineer believes that the workspace system is the most closely related to the owner. It is the end of the cabling system and the most important position of customers in the cabling system. What are the requirements of information points in the new specifications? Note the following in the design specifications for the latest GB50311-2007 integrated cabling system:

1. The number of information outlet modules (electrical and optical) in each work zone should not be less than 2, and meet the needs of various businesses.

2. The number of background boxes should be determined by the number of openings set on the plug-in box panel. The number of information points supported for installation in each background box should not exceed 2.

3. The size of the bottom box installed in the optical fiber information socket module should fully take into account the space left by the optical fiber tray at the end of the horizontal cable (2-core or 4-core) and meet the bending radius requirements of the optical fiber cable.

4. the information socket module of the work zone should support access from different terminal devices. Each 8-bit module universal socket should be connected with one 4-pair twisted-pair cable; connect one 2-Core Optical Fiber Connector and adapter to each duplex or two single optical fiber connectors.

These four can be simply summarized as the requirement that each office should be at least one voice and one data, and that a network cable be prohibited from connecting a computer and a phone at the same time, this is described in more detail in the provisions later in the Specification, "a pair of 4 pairs of twisted pair cables should all be fixed and eventually connected to an 8-bit module universal socket. It is not allowed to connect one 4 pair twisted pair cable to two or more 8-bit module universal sockets "). Considering the size of the hidden box, it is not recommended to use 3 or 4-port panels to encourage the fiber point design from optical fiber to the desktop. These requirements are most common in large projects and high-requirement projects, but these errors are almost common in some common projects or projects with less stringent requirements.

The number of information points in each work area is indeed relatively large. Because the user nature of a building is different, the functional requirements are different from the actual needs, the number of information points cannot be determined only by the office building model, in particular, demand analysis should be strengthened when private buildings (such as telecommunications, finance, stadiums, museums, and other buildings) and computer networks have multiple networks, such as Intranet and Internet, make reasonable configuration.

The number of information points in each workspace can be determined based on the user's nature, network composition, and needs. The following table provides some categories for the designers only.

 

Note: major customer regions can also be public venues, such as malls, conference centers, and exhibition centers.

In some projects, data points may have Intranet, Internet, private network, and government affairs network. Voice points include common phones, red phones, and many other completely different and unobfuscated networks, some wireless access points and optical fiber information points may need to be connected together with special points such as the touch query machine and external large screen. This requires the designer to have in-depth communication with Party A at the beginning of the design, learn more about the customer's requirements, and communicate with other systems.
