In my personal experience, most of them are developed based on the Java language. I think so too. Another feeling is that apart from thebrain, several others are in the traditional tree structure. cross-organization connections are very troublesome, ugly, and not intuitive. Such a mind map is suitable for division by task. Each task has a mind map, but it is not suitable for organizing ideas, there is no way to establish a reference directly when doing another thing ). Thebrain is a good practice. It manages the layout of each node by itself, as well as quick node search, which can easily connect to any node of the mind-directed worker. In addition, thebrain suggests creating only one mind map, called "My brain" or something. In this way, all tasks are the subset of this mind map, and all nodes are connected, they are all in this shard. Thebrain helps you manage the node layout and hide the node. In this way, you can focus on this subtask during every subtask and will not visually fall into other task views, this achieves the same effect as that of other Mind Map software. The convenient and intuitive cross-organizational node connection solves the waste of repetitive thinking and organization, making the thinking in the brain more like a knowledge network. Another point is that the Mind Map software seems to occupy a lot of memory and CPU, which is a bit annoying. Freemindand freeplaneboth occupy dozens of megabytes of memory, and javaw.exe also occupies dozens of megabytes of memory.

Thebrainjava occupies a very small amount of memory instead of 1 Mbit/s, but thebrain.exe occupies MB of memory, which is terrible.

Another point is cloud backup. This is a feature that I have attached importance to. Simply put, it is implemented by Wiz and Evernote that a mind map can be shared on multiple computers. I found thebrain is available, but it is only available in Professional Edition. Freemind and freeplane are both open-source software. If there is no operating server, it is naturally impossible to have this function. MindV is an online Mind Map tool based on the Microsoft cloud computing platform, but there is no client I want. It is only browser-based. Forget it. Other software does not know whether this function is available.

Based on various factors, I chose thebrain. Although it occupies the most computer resources, I cannot reject it because of its unique organization and the powerful organization capabilities. As for cloud backup, you have to manually export the Mind Map and use it as an attachment to the Wiz document.
