Introduction

With the continuous development of computer technology, especially the Internet, the integration and interaction between "information Island" becomes an urgent problem to be solved.

In many solutions, information integration based on multi-agent (multi-agent) is one of them. This system has been considered as an important technology and framework for constructing large and complex distributed information processing system. In a multi-agent based approach, the concrete operation steps of the resource integration are: The user submits the request to the search agent, the search agent makes the appropriate conversion to the request, sends to the proxy router; the proxy router sends the query request to the database agent through the link, the database agent accepts the query request, and carries on the concrete database operation, The query results are then returned to the requester, the search agent identifies the returned results, and if there are resources required, activates the local database agent, records the information obtained, and further processes the information collected by the expert system. This approach has an obvious flaw, that is, the format of the database must be clear, the agent to work properly.

and XML technology can solve this problem very well. With XML for data integration, it is necessary to add an XML-formatted package to all heterogeneous data sources, that is, without changing the data source, the definition descriptive word of data source and the creation of data source are encapsulated with XML. The encapsulation of all the data sources on the supply chain node is integrated into the global XML Schema or DTD, and stored in the XML virtual server, which provides services for system retrieval and location. In the integration mechanism of XML, the data can be interacted with each other through XML encapsulation, so it is not necessary to understand the format of the database, so it makes up for the insufficiency of the integration method based on multi-agent.
