After Vista is installed, the author uses the disk management tool that comes with Vista (right-click "computer" and choose "manage" to see) to delete and create an over-area. Later, when the partition magician was used to manage the partition, the software reported the partition error and could not be repaired by the partition magician, but Vista was able to run normally. The following are the solutions I have tried:
Method 1: If you have installed both XP and Vista systems, start them under the XP system and use the XP disk management tool to delete the partitions that have been modified under Vista and recreate them. This method has some limitations. If a hard disk partition is created during the installation of Vista, the system partition cannot be modified using the XP disk management tool.
Method 2: use the tool CD to start the computer to DOS, and then run another disk management tool DM, which can re-create partitions. However, it is extremely destructive. You must delete all partitions and recreate them. The advantage is that after such processing, the partition magician can partition the hard disk.
TIPS: Before Vista is installed, use the partition magician to set the partition. After Vista is installed, the partition magician can also run normally, which creates conditions for us to delete the system partition where Vista is installed.
