Resolve-"Kernel panic-not syncing"

After a physical machine system is migrated to VMware ESX with acronis. backup_bootcd, the following error occurs during startup:

No volume groups found
Volume group "volgroup00" not found
Mount: cocould not find filesystem '/dev/root'
Setuproot: voming/dev failed: no such file or directory
...
Switchroot: Mount failed: no such file or directory
Kernel panic-not syncing: attempted to kill Init! "   I thought it was very troublesome. In the test, the solution was very simple:

UseRHELStart the CD,When the prompt page appears,InputLinux rescueStart in recovery mode

Boot:Linux rescue

 

After the prompt page appears,Input

Sh-3.2 #Chroot/mnt/sysimage

Sh-3.2 #CD/boot

Sh-3.2 #CP initrd-2.6.18-128.1.16.el5.img initrd-2.6.18-128.1.16.el5.img.backup
