Resolve to extract tar.gz file error gzip:stdin:not in gzip format errors

Error in extracting tar.gz files

[Sun@localhost downloads]$ TAR-ZXVF clion-141.351.4.tar.gz

Gzip:stdin:not in gzip format
Tar:child returned status 1
Tar:error is isn't recoverable:exiting now

The reason is that this package is not compressed with the GZIP format, so do not need to add Z command

[Sun@localhost downloads]$ TAR-XVF clion-141.351.4.tar.gz

Workaround Two:

1: Rename the downloaded file: MV apache-tomcat-6.0.26.tar.gz Apache-tomcat-6.0.26.tar

2: Again perform the decompression command: TAR-ZXVF Apache-tomcat-6.0.26.tar
