This section describes how to solve iis apppool \ defaappapppool logon failure. If you have encountered similar problems, refer. When adding an ASP. NET Website, selecting "add application" to connect to SQL server 2005 (2008) may report the following error:

(Note: Error 2005 is required, and error 2008 is selected)
"Unable to open the database requested for login" databaname ". Logon Failed.
User 'isapppool \ ultultapppool 'Login Failed. "

Solution:
1. database:
Open SQL server 2005 (2008) management studio
Security-> login name-> right-click New login name-> General-> Search-> Add SERVICE user-> server role-> hook sysadmin
Generally, sysadmin already exists.

2. in IIS:
Application pool-> right-click the corresponding application pool-> advanced settings-> Process Module _ id-> select NetworkService (consistent with the settings in the database ).
