Error: This host supports Intel Vt-x, but Intel Vt-x is disabled.

The virtual machine has been configured to use a 64-bit guest operating system. However, 64-bit operations cannot be performed.

This host supports Intel Vt-x, but Intel Vt-x is disabled.

If Intel Vt-x is disabled in the bios/firmware settings, or if the host has never restarted since the setting was changed, the Intel Vt-x may be disabled.

(1) Verify that Intel vt-x is enabled in the Bios/firmware settings and that trusted execution is disabled.

(2) If one of these two bios/firmware settings has changed, restart the host.

(3) If you never restart the host after installing VMware Workstation, reboot.

(4) Update the host's bios/firmware to the latest version.

The alert message is clear enough to open the Intel Vt-x (which should be Intel Virtualization technology) in the BIOS. The BIOS is not able to demonstrate, and different BIOS settings details may be different, the following only talk about Jeff on his own computer solution:

1, shut down, power on, appear when press the BIOS startup key, enter the BIOS setup page;

2, select the configuration, and then select Intel Virtual technology, this option should be disabled (off);

3. Change disabled (off) to Enabled (open);
