Previous articles have mentioned how to use IIS to publish worldclient--"Worldclient running MDaemon in IIS7". I would like to focus on this problem again, this main solution: when the mail server 80 ports are not occupied by other sites, mail server also use 80 ports, so as to facilitate user access. Recently found in the process of publishing, whether it is IIS6 or IIS7, the most easily overlooked is the issue of permissions. The result is that users use IE login mailbox, new mail can not be displayed, users can not modify their account password, from the point of view of the server routing log shows that the message has been to the user's directory, but IE can not be displayed. At one time, a lot of individuals are here the tangled MDaemon function and performance problems, here to explain, not mdaemon function and performance in addition to the problem, but do not give permission to do when the IIS release!
If you use the MDaemon in IIS to do the publication, the above message will not appear, users can not modify the situation in their own password, then you should pay attention to the following operation you have done.
A. In IIS, right-click the published folder webclient----edit Permissions----Add Iuser and everyone accounts to give Full control permissions.
B. Add full control of Iuser and everyone account to the installation directory MDaemon folder.
