Restart the network service in linux (clone a VM)

1. ping unknown host www.baidu.com

Error cause: Generally the NIC is not started

View All NICs

View started NICs

Start and view an unstarted Nic

Pinging again is still incorrect

Restart NETWORK SERVICE

Service network restart or/etc/init. d/network restart

2. device eth0 does not seem to be present delaying initialization error cause: the device eth0 is not found (this error is usually caused by a clone virtual opportunity)

Run service network status to view the status

The configured device is eth0. The currently active device is eth1.

Run the following command:

Change eth0 to eth1

An error occurs when you restart the network service.

3. device eth1 has different mac address than expected ignoring

Error cause: mac address Mismatch

Mac address of the currently running Device

Mac address in the configuration file

Change the mac address in the configuration file to the running mac address to restart the network service.
